WYNGO respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how WYNGO d.o.o. (“WYNGO,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects personal information when you visit https://wyngo.ai, https://www.wyngo.ai, or any website that links to this policy (collectively, the “Website”).

If you are in the European Economic Area (“EEA”), United Kingdom (“UK”), or Switzerland, the entity above is the controller of your personal data for the processing described in this policy. If we appoint a Data Protection Officer or EU/UK representative, we will publish their contact details here.

This policy covers the Website and our waitlist/newsletter communications. It does not cover a WYNGO product or service that has a separate privacy notice.

1. Personal Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal information:

  • Contact information: email address, name, or other details you choose to provide — collected directly from you, including when you join our waitlist or contact us.
  • Device and online activity information: IP address, browser/device type, operating system, language, pages viewed, referring URL, clicks, approximate location derived from IP, cookie or device identifiers, and timestamps — collected automatically through your browser and our analytics/advertising partners.
  • Marketing and communications information: subscription status, email engagement, communication preferences, and correspondence with us — collected from you and our email service provider.
  • Inferences: interests or likely audience segments inferred from Website activity for measurement or advertising — collected by our analytics and advertising partners, where permitted.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information through the Website. Please do not send us sensitive personal information through the contact email or waitlist form.

2. How We Use Personal Information and Our Legal Bases

We use personal information to:

  • operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Website;
  • respond to messages and administer the waitlist;
  • send updates and marketing emails where you have subscribed or where otherwise permitted by law;
  • understand Website use, measure campaign performance, and troubleshoot errors;
  • deliver and measure relevant advertising, where you consent or where otherwise permitted by law; and
  • protect our rights, prevent fraud or misuse, and comply with legal obligations.

For people in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, our legal bases are: (i) your consent — for non-essential cookies, similar technologies, and marketing email where consent is required; (ii) our legitimate interests in operating, protecting, improving, and promoting WYNGO, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights; and (iii) compliance with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal.

3. Cookies, Pixels, and Similar Technologies

We use cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies. Necessary technologies support core Website operation and security. The following non-essential categories are used only after opt-in consent where required by law:

  • Analytics — Google Analytics 4 (Google) and Hotjar: to understand traffic and Website use, and improve content and performance.
  • Advertising — Meta Pixel (Meta) and TikTok Pixel (TikTok): to measure advertising campaigns, create or reach relevant audiences, and limit/repeat advertising.
  • Email / waitlist — Brevo: to collect and manage waitlist subscriptions and communications.

The exact cookies we use, along with their purpose, duration, and provider, are listed in the cookie consent banner and the Cookie Preferences panel on this Website, which together serve as our Cookie Notice for the purposes of this policy. You can change or withdraw your cookie choices at any time by selecting “Customize” in the cookie banner, where you may accept all, reject all, or choose individual cookie categories (such as Necessary, Functional, Analytical, and other categories shown in the banner).

We configure advertising technologies to respect applicable opt-outs and Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where required. If we use advertising pixels, their transmission of online identifiers and browsing activity may be considered “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising under certain U.S. state privacy laws. See “U.S. Privacy Rights” in Section 7 below.

4. How We Disclose Personal Information

We disclose personal information only as needed for the purposes above, including to:

  • service providers that host, secure, support, analyse, or communicate on our behalf, including Brevo, Google, Hotjar, Meta, and TikTok where enabled;
  • professional advisers, insurers, auditors, or counterparties in a corporate transaction; and
  • authorities or other parties when we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to comply with law, enforce our rights, or protect people and property.

We do not sell personal information for money. However, depending on the technology enabled and applicable U.S. law, disclosure of online identifiers and activity to advertising partners may constitute a “sale” or “sharing” for targeted advertising. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of people under 16.

5. International Transfers

Our providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live, including the United States. When GDPR, UK GDPR, or Swiss law applies, we rely on a lawful transfer mechanism as appropriate, such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (DPF) where our provider is certified under it, an adequacy decision, or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses together with supplementary safeguards where required. You may request information about the applicable transfer safeguards by emailing wyngo@wyngo.ai.

6. Retention

We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including legal, accounting, dispute-resolution, and security needs. In particular, we retain waitlist/marketing contact information until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, unless we need to retain it for a lawful purpose. Cookie and analytics retention periods are shown in our Cookie Notice and provider settings.

7. Your Privacy Choices and Rights

Marketing and cookies

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in the email or by emailing wyngo@wyngo.ai. You can control non-essential cookies through Cookie Settings. Browser settings may also permit you to remove or block cookies, though this can affect Website functionality.

EEA, UK, and Swiss rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to access, correct, delete, restrict, or transfer your personal data, or object to processing based on our legitimate interests, including direct marketing. You may also withdraw consent at any time. To exercise a right, email wyngo@wyngo.ai with “Privacy Request” in the subject line. We may take reasonable steps to verify your identity. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority; in Slovenia, this is the Information Commissioner (Informacijski pooblaščenec), www.ip-rs.si.

U.S. privacy rights

Depending on your U.S. state of residence and applicable law, you may have rights to know/access, correct, delete, receive a portable copy of, or opt out of certain processing of your personal information, including targeted advertising or the sale/sharing of personal information. You may submit a request by emailing wyngo@wyngo.ai with “U.S. Privacy Request” in the subject line.

If applicable to us, California residents may use the “Your Privacy Choices / Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link available in the Website footer or Cookie Settings to opt out of sale/sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising. We honor opt-out preference signals, including GPC, where required by law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights. You may use an authorized agent where permitted by law; we may require proof of authorization and identity verification as permitted by law.

8. Notice at Collection for California Residents

At or before collection, we collect the categories described in Section 1 for the business and commercial purposes described in Section 2. We disclose them to the categories of recipients in Section 4. We retain them as described in Section 6. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you. If advertising pixels are enabled, we may share online identifiers and internet activity with advertising partners for cross-context behavioral advertising; you can opt out using “Your Privacy Choices / Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” in the Website footer or Cookie Settings.

9. Children

The Website is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please email wyngo@wyngo.ai so we can delete it.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on the Website and change the “Last updated” date. Where required, we will give additional notice or obtain consent before a material change takes effect.
